Causes and solutions for belt slippage in pellet mills
Pellet mill belt slippage not only wastes power, but is also a major cause of low pellet mill capacity.
Causes: Insufficient tension, oil contamination on the belt, belt aging, excessive load.
Solutions: Adjust tension to a deflection of 10-15mm; wipe oil off the pulleys; replace aging belts promptly; investigate raw material or mold issues and reduce load.
Solving belt slippage effectively improves the transmission efficiency of the pellet mill and ensures the output speed.
