The mold in a pellet mill is the core forming component. Rapid wear of the pellet mill mold will directly reduce production quality and efficiency. Mold wear and mold hole deformation will result in poor particle forming and increased powder content.
Prolonged extrusion friction, hard impurities in raw materials, and improper clearance adjustment are the main causes of mold damage.
Regularly inspect the mold hole condition; minor wear can be polished for repair, while severe damage requires immediate replacement. Strictly control raw material impurities, standardize machine adjustments, and extend mold lifespan.
