Solutions for Uneven Material Separation in Pellet Coolers
A pellet cooler performs dual functions of pellet cooling and fines separation during operation. The internal louver angle of the pellet cooler directly determines the screening accuracy. When the pellet cooler suffers from louver deformation or component wear, finished pellets and fine powders cannot be separated effectively. Excessive residual fines mixed in final products wastes the production capacity of the pellet mill and greatly reduces the market competitiveness of finished pellets.
Deformed louvers, uneven material distribution, unstable system negative pressure, and improper vibration intensity are the main causes of poor material separation and incomplete powder removal.
During daily maintenance, inspect and calibrate the louver angles of the pellet cooler to achieve uniform material falling. Adjust fan negative pressure to optimize separation efficiency, and recycle separated fine powders for re-pelleting. This standardized operation improves raw material utilization and ensures stable finished product quality.
