A rotary dryer regulates and stabilizes the moisture content of production raw materials. If a rotary dryer operates with insufficient hot air temperature, materials cannot be fully dewatered and will fail to meet drying standards. Continuous low-temperature operation of the rotary dryer produces large amounts of damp materials with excessive moisture. When unqualified wet materials are delivered to the pellet mill, they easily cause die hole adhesion and blockage, greatly lowering the overall operating efficiency of the pellet mill.

Duct air leakage, dust clogging on heat exchange components, inadequate fuel combustion, and unstable system negative pressure are the main factors leading to insufficient hot air temperature of the rotary dryer.

During daily maintenance, regularly inspect and seal air leakage points of the rotary dryer ducts, remove dust deposits inside heat exchange components, and overhaul the combustion system to stabilize furnace temperature. Standardized operation ensures qualified raw material moisture and provides stable, high-quality feedstock for subsequent pelleting production.
