Quick solution for pellet mill mold blockage
Material blockage in the pellet mill is a common production problem. Mastering quick troubleshooting and unblocking methods can effectively reduce downtime.
Quick Troubleshooting Causes:
Raw material moisture content is too high or too low, preventing normal molding;
Clogged ring die or excessive gap between pressed rollers, hindering normal feeding;
Feeding speed is too fast, exceeding the pellet mill's processing capacity.
Safe Unblocking Techniques:
First, disconnect the power and stop the machine. Never operate with electricity;
Use specialized tools to clean the die orifices, avoiding damage to the mold from hard objects;
After unblocking, lubricate the die orifices with oil-containing raw material;
Adjust the raw material moisture content and feeding speed to resume production.
