Rotary Dryer Hot Air Duct Blockage Cleaning and Maintenance
The hot air ducts of a rotary dryer deliver heat to support the drying process of the rotary dryer. Dust accumulation and internal blockages within these ducts will sharply reduce the rotary dryer's overall drying efficiency. When excessively wet raw materials are fed into the pellet mill, die jamming and fragile finished pellets will readily take place.
Wood dust adheres to the inner walls of the rotary dryer's hot air ducts and accumulates heavily at pipe elbows as running time goes by. This reduces the ducts' effective flow area and hinders the smooth circulation of hot air inside the rotary dryer.
Carry out monthly machine shutdown maintenance: disassemble duct flanges and thoroughly clear all dust buildup on the inner walls of the rotary dryer's air ducts. Meanwhile, check the fan filter for cracks or breakages. During formal production, adjust the drying negative pressure of the rotary dryer to reduce dust reverse flow into the air ducts, keep raw material moisture stable, and avoid malfunctions that interrupt the normal pellet mill production.
