Wood Chipper Discharge Problem Optimization Solution
A poor discharge flow in the wood chipper can cause material buildup and stall the machine. The accumulated material inside the wood chipper cannot be discharged in time, cutting off the raw material supply to the downstream end, forcing the pellet mill to operate at a reduced load, and lowering the overall output of the pellet mill.
Clogged discharge pipelines, insufficient fan air volume, and raw materials with excessive moisture that makes wood chips stick together are the main factors blocking normal material discharge.
Shut down the machine regularly to clear wood chip residues stuck inside discharge pipelines, and inspect fan impellers and pipeline sealing performance; properly dry high-moisture raw materials, adjust fan speed to boost conveying capacity, guarantee smooth delivery of wood chips to the hammer mill section, and continuously supply qualified raw materials to the pellet mill.
