Hammer mill blade replacement and calibration
Blades are the core component of a hammer mill, and timely replacement and proper calibration are key to ensuring pulverizing efficiency.
When to replace the blades: When the hammer mill produces uneven particle size, a significant drop in output, or when the blades are worn by more than 1/3 or have severe chipping or chipping, the blades need to be replaced.
Installation and calibration points: After powering off and stopping the machine, remove the protective cover and old blades, and clean any residual material from the blade holder; Install the blades according to the direction indicated on the blade installation mark, ensuring that the fixing bolts are tightened to prevent loosening and falling off; Calibrate the blade gap to ensure that the gap between all blades and the screen is uniform; After installation, conduct a no-load test run to confirm that there are no abnormal noises or shaking before starting production.
